Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Director to drive growth and expansion in the creator economy industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the creator ecosystem, coupled with strong business acumen, relationship-building skills, and a passion for innovation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and signing top-tier YouTubers, publishers, and influencers to join the Alfan platform, while also positioning Alfan as a leader both locally and globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive growth and expansion in the creator economy industry. Identify market opportunities, define target segments, and prioritise key initiatives to achieve business objectives.
- Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate relationships with top-tier YouTubers, publishers, and influencers to onboard them onto the Alfan platform. Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure strategic partnerships aligned with Alfan's goals and objectives.
- Innovation and Product Positioning: Drive innovation and differentiation in the market by identifying new product opportunities, features, and enhancements. Position Alfan as a leading platform locally and globally through compelling value propositions and unique selling points.
- Sales and Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies and tactics. Collaborate with partners to develop monetization opportunities and revenue-sharing models that maximise value for both parties.
- Market Expansion: Expand Alfan's presence and reach both locally and globally. Identify new market opportunities and develop market entry strategies to penetrate key regions and segments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, and Operations to align business development efforts with overall company objectives. Provide input and feedback to inform product roadmap and go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in business development, partnerships, or sales roles within the creator economy industry.
- Strong understanding of the digital media landscape, including YouTube, social media platforms, and influencer marketing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Arabic language fluency is required; proficiency in English is preferred.
- Ability to plan and execute strategies, innovate, drive sales, and position Alfan as a leader in the creator economy
